Chama / Hwy 64 / Taos Loop
Chama is located in the beautiful Northern New Mexico Rocky Mountains. The valley is a vacationer’s paradise. Chama is also the embarkation point for the Cumbres and Toltec narrow-gauge scenic railroad. From there we jump on Hwy 64 one of the most scenic byways to Taos through the Carson National Forest. Coming into Taos we cross the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge which is a cantilever truss bridge and spans 650 feet above the Rio Grande River. Seasonal May - Mid November

Georgia O’Keeffe
The drive through the soaring red mountains of Abiquiu to get to Ghost Ranch is very brilliant. Ghost Ranch is strewn with hiking trails that lead to some very scenic parts of this area. It is a photographer’s delight. You will be able to see where Georgia O’Keeffe received her inspiration.

Chimayo
Journey north to the El Santuario de Chimayo which is believed to be built on sacred earth with miraculous healing powers, the legendary shrine El Santuario de Chimayó, is probably the most visited church in New Mexico. One of New Mexico's oldest restaurants is located in Chimayó—Rancho de Chimayó. It is well-known for traditional New Mexican cuisine. Chimayó is famous for the weavings of the Ortega and Trujillo families.

Taos / Enchanted Circle
The Enchanted Circle is one of two overlapping circle routes through the Carson National Forest, north and east of Taos. You will travel through the town of Red River, a rustic ski and summer resort town. It is a great place to stop & shop. Then onto Eagle’s Nest a small recreation-based town. The lake here is a popular fishing spot. Angel Fire, another noted ski area on the Enchanted Circle with a vertical drop of 2,180 feet, runs up to 3.5 miles, and a cross-country ski center, Angel Fire offers just about everything (including golf when the snow has disappeared). Angel Fire is a very scenic resort town. Summer activities include golfing, hiking, and mountain biking. Then head back to Taos.

Taos County
Heading north out of Santa Fe we travel the high road to Taos with stops along the way. Take in the view of the Pajarito Plateau with wide open great scenic photo opportunities. Once in Taos, you can visit the pueblo, Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, museums and more. After stopping for lunch we head back to Santa Fe travelling along the Rio Grande river.

Pueblos
Just a short distance from Santa Fe. Enjoy the Puye Cliffs and take the adventure package tour to learn all about the ancient ruins. Another stop could be San Ildefonso Pueblo where you can see the world famous pottery that Maria Martinez created. Her pottery helped bridge the Pueblos to the outside world.

  • These prices are subject for destinations listed. Additional attractions added to the itinerary will be charged individually per journey @ $50.00 per hour.
  • Prices do not include any entry fees to parks or pueblos.
  • All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • No alcohol or illegal drugs allowed in vehicle.
  • No smoking allowed in vehicle.
  • No pets allowed in vehicle.
  • Will not transport inebriated passengers.
  • For safety issues, if road conditions or weather becomes extreme while out on a journey, the driver will have the last say if an alternate plan needs to be implemented.

Taxes and Gratuity not included.

    Cancellation policy:

  • 48+ hours cancellation will result in a full refund
  • 24-48 hours cancellation will result in a 50% charge
  • Less than 24 hours cancellation and No Shows will result in a full charge
  • Cancellations based on safety issues due to inclement weather are at the sole discretion of Enchanted Journeys de Santa Fe, LLC and if cancelled will result in a full refund.
